I'm wondering how i play with 2 people? I can see it in the menu but I cant figure out how to do it with a second player

I tried joining the discord and the link didn’t work, is this game abandoned or is there just a big update in the work, I love this so far and I hope there good to be more

my game if running really slow but that fix isint working, anyone know another fix?
